bitterness ran rampant at my office today (myself included) due to the fact that they show no consideration for anyone who has to be in before 8am (generally meaning the 'suits'. document preparation department mostly comes in by 6 or 630, the scanning and indexing dept I'm in are in by 630 or 7). they claim weather announcements will be on our hotline (which often doesn't work) by 6. Today they posted our 2 hr delay (should have just closed, travel was AWFUL) between 620 and 630. I got the text from a friend who happened to catch it just in time. Many didn't find out til they were already at work. You can tell who has nice warm garages and lives close by. We all agreed that our barely above minimum wage pay is not enough to make us risk this weather.
