I used to sleep with a stuffed teddy bear named Hank. Hank was pretty essential to a good night of sleep and soaked up a lot of tears. Hank has a nice, sentimental back story too, but alas, Annabelle has since adopted Hank, perhaps against his will, but she really loves him a lot. Hmm-
I need to get it all down in writing. It seems only logical in my mind.
It has been close to six months since I packed up a couple of suit cases with Annabelle and came back to Omaha. Let me tell you, it hasn't been easy.

John got me a kitten for my 21st birthday. Her name is Miss Kitty. Unfortunately, Miss Kitty, like Lily, had to stay in Durham when I moved back to Nebraska. I was just informed that Miss Kitty has an infection and it doesn't look so good ( Read more... ) -
the world keeps on spinning
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I were an artist and could put the phases of my life into paintings to hang on the wall. When it comes down to it, what tangibles do we take away from ex boyfriends, jobs, and school? Each phase we go through is mostly just a series of memories we refer to and either fight back our tears, or smile.

My daughter is nearly 1 now. She has met these amazing milestones like walking, talking, and developing a personality. She's pretty sharp and has figured out a lot for her age. She toddles around pointing to the world asking "dat?"
