I just had the weirdest dream that my new apartment in NY was the outfield for the Yankees and that baseball had some sort of sudden-death touchdown goal kickoff.

In other news, I'm thinking of cutting off all of my hair again. Life change always inspires follicular change.

I just paid the $300 deposit for grad school at Columbia. Woot?

I just googled myself and found a town in the UK named after me. Like literally, the name of this town is my first and last name smooshed together. I'm so awesome, I have my own little town near Essex. HA! I said sex.

I went to my "fit camp" class at 6am this morning. I am THAT invested in my dress. Now, time for a nap.

I've decided I need to be a size 4 so that I can buy all the fabulous vintage clothes from Decades on Melrose. I have my eye on a Gucci dress. Must think thin thoughts. I will also need to put my credit card on a massive diet. I'm wondering if a Birkin is really worth three months' salary. I'm leaning towards yes.

New car is bought. Sadly, it's a Civic. Happily, it's the 2-door. My mom got talked into the maintenance program so I ended up paying an extra $1500 for the car but overall, I'm not completely disappointed with the outcome of my first ever car buying experience. Except for the giant hole in my bank account.

It is so hot in my house today that when I went to wash my hands just now, the liquid soap in the dispenser was hot. ICK.

Last Thursday, I was involved in my very first accident. I was driving home from school when some crazy woman changed lanes right into my blindspot. Seriously...who hits someone else in their blindspot? Anyhoot. She hits me and my car goes sliding across 4 lanes of traffic before I'm able to find the break pedal again with my foot. I had a very very interesting weekend that involved pillows and the Oakland Raiderettes. Don't have time to get into details but partially covered genitals and bouncers were aplenty. More to come on Tuesday after my tests.

So last night while I was trying to take a nap I overheard my mom telling my dad that one of the actors in Brokeback Mountain died and I had a minor fit because I thought my little Jakey had died. I woke up from my haze and looked it up and found out that it was Heath Ledger that had died. Whew.
