The Weather's Not SO Frightful

December is not much of a snow month here in St. Louis, but the midwest snowstorm dumped seven "official" inches at the airport. I live about 25 miles south, which made a big difference yesterday. I think it's about four inches here in my back yard. A wet snow which really stuck to the trees.

And the sky is so blue - so the contrast is gorgeous! Looks kida the same here - but we usually do get our weather from you.

I wouldn't mind the snow sticking around till Christmas, as long as the streets get salted and plowed. (Which only happens on the major thoroughfares, unfortunately.)

Happy holidays!

Yes, we sent the snow all your way. I hope you don't have too many problems getting around!

It was very pretty when I was driving around today. By tomorrow it will probably be all dirty and slushy. Ah well, pictures last at least.

You folks are certainly getting a lot of crappy weather lately. I could never stand all that rain. We had 9 days in a row of cloudy skys here the past couple weeks and many of us were ready to commit homicide before the sun FINALLY came out!

Pretty! Not too much either. Have some cocoa and enjoy.

Yep, just enough to be pretty, but not too much to be a real pain. Though all the folks who canceled their Saturday night Christmas parties might not agree. Fortunately, my parties were last Friday and this coming Friday and Saturday. Only rain in the forecast this weekend--we were up over 50 degrees today with beautiful sun!
