Quite the eventful day

On Monday of this week, I got off the bus at the end of the day and heard my name shouted from across the parking lot. Here came the boy on his bicycle WITHOUT training wheels. Something finally made the connection between the bicycle and the scooter which he's been riding for a month or more, and he can now balance on his bicycle. Unfortunately

What yarn did you use for the shawl? It's very pretty and looks very similar to my new sock yarn.

You know, I'm awful with that sort of thing - I've had the yarn for several years and finished the shawl almost a year ago. It's wool and something - maybe silk? I honestly don't remember, sorry.
It might be in my ravelry stash listing, I don't know.
