If I could sum up my vacation, it would be this: Totally. Fucking. Awesome. I'm going to take a leaf outta my friend's book and write by day so I don't miss anything.

My next trip will be to Ireland. I will be there for three weeks in June, digging up an ancient medieval church with one of my professors and about twenty others.

Nedless to say, I'm really excited. :-)

As of Friday, I have finished my finals and my semester here in Japan. I have only a month to go until I leave. As I have finished with this journey, this will most likely be my last entry. My stepmother wrote me today to tell me that the family dog, Bailey, was put to sleep. I remember playing with her when I was a little girl. I will miss her deeply. Bailey was a dog that everyone loved. She had a lot of love to give, and never withheld it from anyone. Except maybe cats. And I'm sorry mom and dad, for your loss.
