I'm a good 15 years older than most undergrads, so I am surprised that I apparently still give people the impression that I'm fairly young. Last spring, I wrote about a medical tech who was asking me about school. After a bit, he asked if I'd considered going to grad school, not realizing that I already had a masters and was enrolled in a PhD

I'm usually half way between amused and annoyed when people underestimate me. I suppose with age it's not always bad.
