Mike is heading over to help with sandbagging. I'm a bit worried because he said his arthritis is acting up. On the other hand, he said he really feels like he should be helping out since he hasn't been able to before. I think some of the Moorhead people are just pissy because FARGO is getting all the press.

Who knows, it could be because of poor planning or maybe everyone went over to Fargo to sandbag?

In reading some of the public comments on the InForum site and MPR, there some people being real wankers about the whole thing.

Mike made the point that they have nearly as much riverfront as Fargo but 1/3 of the people. That could be a problem. I'm sure funding might be an issue, but you'd think they could work together on all of this stuff.

(Of course, they couldn't on the water treatment plant when they had plenty of time to plan things out, so I suppose that sort of thing is less likely when they're in a hurry.)
