It's official: my diploma came in the mail and is awaiting a fancy and uber-expensive frame (which can hang on the wall and collect dust).

I've officially got a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. (Although I believe my degree says electrical and computer engineering, but anyone with any sense knows that I have no skill in computer ( Read more... )

As for sitting through the ceremony, that's up to you. It seems like a lot of people skip their masters ceremonies, opting to just walk for the doctorate grad ceremony instead.

I think I probably will skip it. I was going to do it when it looked like Mike and I would be able to do it together, but now it's not looking like that will happen. (He's still got a lot more writing to go.)
