I was sitting at the dinner table, chatting with my mom and Mike, when the little one came up. He was holding a toy light saber (one of those telescoping ones). He handed it to me, collapsed to the shortest length. He had that totally serious and somber expression on his face

We have several versions of Star Wars. The eleven year old will break out the VHS version, just to see it as it was before Lucas added all those scenes.

We have both the old unedited version on VHS & the 'new' one's on DVD. I think we'll wait until Jimmy is old enough to "understand" before we show him episodes 1-3.

Because it really takes the fun out of Yoda messing with Luke in 'Empire' if you see the first three films first, in my opinion.
