Attack of the Star Wars fan

I was sitting at the dinner table, chatting with my mom and Mike, when the little one came up. He was holding a toy light saber (one of those telescoping ones). He handed it to me, collapsed to the shortest length. He had that totally serious and somber expression on his face.

"Mom, this was your father's. He wanted you to have it." I suppressed a giggle and twisted it so the light saber extended to its full length. He looked at me for a second...actually a few, trying to figure out what to say next...and then said, "Wow! That's really cool."

Apparently McDonalds is giving out "Attack of the Clones" toys, so Mike decided to buy a DVD version of Star Wars. He watched it with the kids last night. (We're pretty sure we have a VHS version, but we can't find it.) The younger one told me that his favorite person is Obi Wan Kenobi. I was surprised. When I was a kid, I loved Princess Leia and Luke. This kid has much more wisdom than I did at 4.
