Aww, I'm in love this story already - I think I'm going to be begging for more than just three chapters - everything was just perfect - from the stepmother and the selling of Scotty.

You had me guessing whether it was going to be Kevin or not - I thought he might have to buy him from the other husband.

Well, it is a bit the concept of pre-arranged marriage in combination with what I sometimes read how poor people, in third world countries, are led to believe that their daughter will get a better life and education, but the girls end up in prostitution, or house-hold work that is more like slavery.

But I also wanted to keep it a light story and not focus on that too much.

Kevin: knight in shining armour, saviour, fatal attraction (only in that Scotty will fall deeper).

I've almost forgotten what it's like to read AU's - it's been so long! Gee, I could hear myself saying that in Sarah's voice, outside the store where she and Kevin bumped in to Chad... It sure doesn't take long for it all to come flooding back...and I'm rattling again. Sorry!

All in all, sounding good. Can't wait to hear what happens when the Walker Clan find out, though I'm secretly hoping that that doesn't happen too soon and that Kevin keeps Scotty ALL to himself for a good while longer ;)

This is so great!! I totally loved it! I love the idea of a marriage of convenience, a sweet and shy Scotty, Kevin as the romantic hero who save him. Awww! everything is perfect. Their making-love scene is so sweet and wonderful. Sigh!

Only three chapters? :( I want more of them!
