hey! don't know why i didn't read this earlier... i have a question though. if kevin bought scotty why was he so surprised and clueless about what to do when scotty called justin like, an hour before they met and became husband and husband? other than that, i like the interaction and how scotty seemed to be this very shy and awkward kid to kevin, i do actually see the characters in your AU, the sould of both is in here... at least i feel it.

Kevin didn't make the deal himself, but had it done. He had to first make the marriage real (through the wedding-night) before letting anyone know what was going on and what he had known. That is also why Scotty wasn't allowed to know who he would be married off to, because one word to Justin and everyone would have known in no-time.;) and if Bertha would have found out, she would have made a problem over this (like demanding more money) and the deal might have turned bad.
