So I didn't end up going to Portland after all. :-( Maybe next weekend. Or the weekend after, since L is starting grad school today, and her first weekend of homework might not be the most fun time for me to be down there

Ohh, good luck with that. I would spend a fortune in iTunes. I have seriously considered cutting my cable, but I could not survive without my DVRs. I never just watch TV randomly. I only watch recorded stuff. I watched a episode of something the other day live and the commercials just about drove me berserk. I need to do something, but I would rather cut down on eating out than cable. I'm addicted.

I'm definitely addicted to TV, but I'm a law-breaker as well, and I have a DVD player that plays AVI files on my TV, so it's not a terrible pain for me to download as long as the files are actually available. I will miss my DVR, but I think I'll try to be strong. ;-)

Oh, that makes it better. I don't have that ability, so I either pay iTunes or hope that the networks plays it for free, and not all my shows are available either way.

I couldn't even drop HBO and Showtime because I love their stuff too much.
