The one that pissed me off today was someone ACTUALLY was complaining that their kid, who was at "Normal" levels, was suffering because all the other kindergarteners were at more advanced reading levels and WANTED THE TEACHERS TO STOP TEACHING SO WELL. Yes, let's strive for mediocrity! That'll make everyone better off as adults.

I don't care if the kid had learning disabilities or what...if the teachers are doing well, let them do well. If the other kids are doing well, let them do well. Yes it sucks that your kid isn't doing as stellar, but maybe that means THEY, the PARENTS, should help them out more at home? Fuck this "leave no child behind" mentality. What, they want it like a chain gang?...drop the last one over the cliff and the rest get pulled down with them?

"And this... why is it that American celebrities who adopt children always adopt African or Asian children? Does America have no children who need homes? I don't think that is it.

I think these fucked up, narcissistic assloads feel the need to be exotic and they must go to Bangladesh to find a child, because you don't get any publicity for adopting a yankee kid. But adopt a kid from Cameroon and you get on the cover of seven magazines.

Adopt a fucking American kid. You want a child with some color? There are plenty of them in every shade available in the US adoption system."

Keep in mind that celebrities live in a world where people are paid to cater to them, thereby encouraging that feeling of self-importance. To a degre, this catering puts a taint on any altruistic good deed many celebrities undertake....especially the modern ones. This also makes their paid syncopants and self-absorbed friends praise their "selfless" acts yet more, propping their egos yet higher.

...because in reality, it is "all about them".T-Bob
