Rant: Things that piss me off...
Ok, this was in the BBC today:

It basically says that a group of concerned British twats wrote a letter to the gaming industry saying they were poisoning childhood because kids spend too much time gaming.
Oh really? This is the gaming industry's fault? No, it isn't. It is lousy fuckwad parents who haven't actually spent any quality time with little Petey since he was two and still cute. They plant their kids in front of games and TV to have a free babysitter. Besides, all the fun was sucked out of being a kid years ago. You can't ride a bike without a helmet. You can't skate anywhere anymore. If it was charming toy train sets kids were spending too much time in front of, no one would complain. In this case, parents complain because they are afraid of technology and their kids are now smarter than they are. Gotta blame someone. No, it can't be me, I can't possibly a shitty parent. Nope. Blame a business industry. If kids were reading books instead, would they complain and tell the book publishers to stop publishing children's books? Or how about this: bitch to the government for the worldwide lousy economy that makes it so that both parents in the home have to work instead of stay home with the kids. Single mom working two jobs to pay the rent, so she/he has no time to figure out that Little Petey has been playing Grand Theft Auto for the last year.
And this... why is it that American celebrities who adopt children always adopt African or Asian children? Does America have no children who need homes? I don't think that is it. I think these fucked up, narcissistic assloads feel the need to be exotic and they must go to Bangladesh to find a child, because you don't get any publicity for adopting a yankee kid. But adopt a kid from Cameroon and you get on the cover of seven magazines. Adopt a fucking American kid. You want a child with some color? There are plenty of them in every shade available in the US adoption system.
Online "international" companies that won't accept a non USA credit card. It's a global fucking economy. Wake up.
