An affinity for the dark
In the early morning hours, is anything truly painful?
I've woken up with red stains on the sheets, and not known quite how they got there, though I was bleeding from a hundred shallow paper cuts, crisscrossing my forearms. They don't hurt that early in the morning. Everything's....numb.

There are only a few words that come to mind when 'Writer's Con' is mentioned. First and foremost: OMG. I went to one! Second...fuck...I so wish I was back there.

I am blatantly ignoring the fact that I have three major exams (and a slew of little ones) coming up in the next two weeks, and am attending a poetry reading! Go me. Wow....I'm not being very smart about this am I? >>
