Minus points for shrunken piccies (why does everyone do this now? I understand about colour-adjusting the pics and presenting them prettily, but the reduced size seems to go against the whole idea of picspams--I tend to look at picspams to drool and to grab some images I like and could use/drool over later. It's a bit like looking at a page of really cool thumbnails without being able to click for the full-sized versions). But... theirloveissobitchy.

Yeah, I hear what you're saying. I prefer the more usual style of picspam as well, to be honest (because, like you said, one of the things about picspams is about being able to save pics you haven't seen before) - I just kind of wanted to try my hand at this style, cuz I've seen lots of people doing it, but I don't think I'll stick with it.

Anyway, I've put the original size caps that I used in a gallery now (they have been color-adjusted, though, so probably no good for doing anything with. If you want any of the (I kid you not) 228 raw caps I took of that scene, though, just shout and I can throw them up, too.)

ALSO I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THE LOBSTER SUIT ALL DAY NOW AND IT'S STARTING TO HURT MY BRAIN. D:

Oh, phew. 'cos just the other day I was going yay at you doing the Benton thingy in full-sized caps and such:). I just put a rant up on my journal about the picspam style, but wanted to let you know that it isn't me yelling at you personally, just so you know. It's because *everyone* keeps doing it now and it just makes me scratch my head a bit.

And I like your colour-adjustments--Who and B7 can be so damn flat and grayish that those adjustments are a godsend for anyone wanting to fiddle with the pics:). Which trick do you use for those? (I tend to duplicate the layer and set one to Screen and one to Soft Light over or under the Screen one and adjust their opacities, and such).

AND THE LOBSTER SUIT IS FUCKING AWESOMESTUPID. Especially, because, the trousers... you *know*. Ahem.

Yeah, I don't know when this collage style type of picspam became a thing, but it's certainly a thing at the moment.

For B7 and Old Who caps, especially, usually I'll adjust the levels first and then play with curves a bit. I don't really know what I'm doing with curves, but it seems like if I lower the curve very slightly around the mid-tone darks and raise it slightly around the mid-tone lights, it seems to help get rid of that kind of grayish cast and improves the contrast. Anyway, then I do the screen layer and overlay/soft light layer thing, too.

AND LOBSTER SUIT TROUSERS + BLACK TURTLENECK = WIN. It's just the lobster suit top that hurts.

Ohhh yes. :D Sometimes I can't believe there's been a Blake's 7 fandom longer than I've been ALIVE. And personally, I think Avon can be shipped with pretty much anyone. And everyone. I mean look at him running around in leather trousers all the time! :D
