COMPUTERRRRRRRRRR

I have one! Finally! Despite the weather and the general incompetence of UPS trying to conspire against me, I actually have a working, functional computer once again. One that doesn't beachball every thirty seconds and plays flash video and has a DVD drive that'll actually play DVDs and everything! It is truly a joyous day ( Read more... )

Hiiiiiii! Glad to be back! Oh, oh, guess who got a full set of B7 DVDs for her birthday last week? (Spoilers: it was me.) Combined with having a computer with a DVD player that will actually play DVDs, I'm hoping to actually maybe possibly potentially fucking finish that Doctor Who/B7 picspam I've been talking about for ages.

YES. YOU SHOULD. Is it that costume picspam or an actor crossover picspam? Whatever it is, it should be glorious:q

It would be, like, everything - costumes, actors, filming locations. I was kind of thinking of maybe doing it on tumblr, because then I could post it a bit at a time, and hey, stuff for fuckyeahb7 to reblog. If you don't mind me doing that, anyway.

Awww, thanks! I couldn't even have a freak-out on LJ when my TV aerial tried to suicidally throw itself off the roof during the bad weather last week, conveniently the morning of the day of the Merlin finale. BBC1 did start coming back in in time, but it was pretty tense for a time. Almost as bad as when Sir Leon was very nearly dead for a bit.

A desktop named after 岩手山? WTF?!

Btw, almost always I'm just a lurker.
But I'm enjoying your posts and welcome back!

Well, I used to live in Iwate, not far from Morioka, so I guess it's a bit of nostalgia, too.

It's hard to stop being a lurker - it is sort of my default state.

Ah...before in Kyoto? So you'd always lived in beautiful places when you were in Japan!

No, it's not. You've posted so many funny things. And people don't wait for posts of a lurker - it means you can't be a lurker.

Btw, I have a question - what is the "Freedomland"? Is it a place name? Country or town?

'So you'd always lived in beautiful places when you were in Japan!'

Well, I *did* also live in Nagoya for a bit, which sort of balances it out. :)

'what is the "Freedomland"?'

Heh. That's meant to be a joke -- it's what I sometimes sarcastically call the United States. Have you heard about freedom fries? I'm joking like they've renamed the whole country.
