I'm imagining Moffat and Gatiss laughing evilly with little Master beards.

You know they are. They have perfected their Ainley style diabolical laughter just for this occasion.

Just posted my caps-riddled reaction post. I did not recognise Peter Davison voice. Fangirl fail. Did enjoy having John Sessions, though.

What amused me the most about John Sessions was that he looked *exactly* like an older, fatter, gayer version of our current Lestrade.

He's not credited, but that's got to be his voice on the recording the professor is listening to in the planetarium. Got to be. (Which elevated that fight scene, with Fivey narrating the solar system over it, into the realm of the surreal.)

I suppose I have AT LEAST A YEAR before we're likely to get more episodes
FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

I was ridiculously pleased that they included Sherlock shooting his wall, which was always one of my favorite bits. I'm not entirely convinced by Moriarty either, but am amused at how much gay fannishness they managed to pack in because I'm simple like that.

Oh yes! Loved that bit, and especially Mrs Hudson's reaction to it. And that it was a smiley face, as this Sherlock doesn't seem as much the type for monogramming his wall with EIIR.

I just love all the little canon bits and pieces that are worked in or adapted. "Not without my blogger" absolutely killed me. Also, the ridiculous amounts of slash. :D

I loved it otherwise, but the shit Moriarty kind of ruined it for me. Which was kind of lame, since I was fucking *high* for the first hour or so of the episode:O I WANT MOAR, but with less horrible shitty Moriarty, kthx.

I would have been fine if they hadn't revealed Moriarty for, like, several series. He was pretty hard-core scary speaking through the hostages, after all. But, I dunno. We'll see what they do with him WHEN THEY FINALLY MAKE SOME MORE EPISODES ARGHHHH.

(More episodes should also include more Mycroft and more Donovan and more Lestrade, please. And plenty of gay, but I doubt that will be a problem.)

The hostages thing was utterly fucking terrifying and it was hard to watch in bets. That's how creepy it was. So, yeah, Moriarty probably would've been better if he'd remained hidden!

I may have died slightly at the wall-shooting and the FUCKING VIOLIN. Gah. How can Bernadette be so pretty?

I think my favourite is when he's curled up and sulking on the sofa and John goes to leave and he is all, "Wait, where are you going?" <3 <3 <3

I need some Cumberbuns icons. Gah, weird-looking men, why are they so weird-lookingly hot?

I KNEW THEY WOULD END IT THERE! I JUST KNEW IT! IT WAS HAPPENING AND I WAS ALL "... DON'T YOU CLIFFHANGER ME, DON'T YOU - SON OF A BITCH!" and there was sulking and muttering and resentful faces.

I suppose if Sherlock was going to be young, Moriarty would have to be young too really. But if they want, they could always undo it and be all "Nah, he was a hostage too." or something. So we'll see. I quite liked his weird inflections.

Oh man, I kept looking at the clock and it was like, three minutes left, two minutes left, ah phew, okay, resolution AH WAIT SHIT HE'S BACK AHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOO. D:

I get that they're trying to set up Moriarty as sort of, what Sherlock could be if he were, actually, a psychopath (or sociopath, since I don't really think he is one and both of them are classed under the same disorder these days anyway.) So, I dunno, I can't imagine they'll do away with Moriarty after only one series, so we'll see where it goes!
