i dont see how that isnt possible without hacking, its a 2.8% chance to happen, are you going to tell me it hasnt been attempted 50 times?

Well, the reason I voted that it was possible is because of how I scroll stuff.

If I had 10 70% LUK scrolls, I wouldn't use 10 on one shield, I'd use 2 on 5 shields. Each one I had that was 2/2 I'd keep until I had 10 of them. The ones that were 1/2 or 0/2 I would vend. And the part I left out is that I've seen several like that. Or, I would toss 30% on them and if they break...no biggie.

But eventually you'd get to the point where you'd have at least a couple that are 5/5. So if you wanted to jump off the deep end and just go balls out, you could scroll them 5x straight across.

In the "it takes money to make money" thing, once you've got this stuff going, you can pretty much keep doing it and breaking even. There were a bunch of STR Wristguards for the first few weeks of the server, all for 20-40k ea. Some guy buys every single one of them and scrolls them to attempted perfection.

Of course the lazy way would be just to hack. But I have gotten some pretty good results with the method described above.

the lazy way is not to hack, it would be much more difficult?

silly

Naw, these people are pretty much on the level of script kiddies as far as hacking goes.

There's always a shop set up with the name of some hack site, or people megaphone hack sites. That's the problem with smaller worlds, it truly is a hacker's paradise.

Did I catch you between breaks?

I used to have this friend...he'd game all day and all he ate were Kudos bars and Dr Pepper.

His bathroom smelled horrible. All of that fibre plus Dr. Pepper...carbonated PRUNE JUICE...of course he had to take breaks. His colon worked like someone with Crohn's or colitis or something.

i cant vote on the poll anymore, but i have pretty decent luck with 60%s (i scrolled a +5 10 attack dark emperor, +6 colorful tube, sledge and morningstar)

60%s alone are pretty reliable, at least for me, so i'd say that's a legitly scrolled shield..since they were scrolled with 70%s it has an even greater chance of working, right?

BTW, there's only one of those on bera. maybe 2, but i doubt it. the guy who has (MurasakiSora
) doesn't even use it in combat. he just has it equipped when he's not training, or puts it in his shop for 999,999,999 too.

and i agree, the luk bonuses in that shield are great.. i'd like to see the day GMS gets top/botoom wear for str scrolls, shield luk, helm int and whatever else JMS has that lets 'weaker' or low luk classes rock

I should have taken screencaps of this Page who is my hero. He's exactly how I like to do it.

He's got all tubes scrolled up nicely and all of his topwears with STR, all previous stuff for sale.

I didn't even know there was a hack that made scrolls work. However, I've had friends that have +7 weapons from 60%s so, although it's unlikely, it is possible.

only in CMS does such a hack exsist

their system isnt as secure on a client/server level, people have external bots that dont even have to open the game to use

either that or there is some crazy genuis that releases it to people, but i believe the first one to be true

from the limited amount of programming knowledge i have (really limited, let me tell you... i suck) i thought something being "random" was actually some sort of algorithm determined essentially from the time (since time is ever changing, it's ideal to base values off it). but still, time is predictable, so if hacks to scroll things are possible, does that mean that scrolling (and possible other "random" things in the game such as drops) are based of your system's time? wouldn't it be prudent to base randomness off of the MS server's time? something a little less manipulatable? either way, i still see it as possible to hack scrolling, though i hate to think that people do it (of course we know they do oN CMS). any "hacking" i've seen on JMS is far from hardcore like that, so i say that item is legit, though i'm not ruling out the possibility it isn't. i've seen some pretty crazy stuff in the JMS FM, after all. does that アイゼン shop still open regularly on kaede? (the one with the godly scrolled showshoes. that person must be making a

It might be...honestly. I've spent more time on Bera than Kaede lately...LOL!

But yes, from everything I've heard about these hacks, they are based on the client's clock, as are drops.

i doubt it would use your client clock as a seed, it would use the servers, but its also highly likely that a lot of other variables, and it could be something you wouldnt know, like the number of people logged on, so on and so forth, which i believe is *different* on the cms server, ie: that IS how it works there

but the random function isnt done on your client, because we can modify the random decisions your client is allowed to make (ie: rolling perfect stats, making all the monsters jump non-stop, always stabbing with a spear)
