I didn't even know there was a hack that made scrolls work. However, I've had friends that have +7 weapons from 60%s so, although it's unlikely, it is possible.

their system isnt as secure on a client/server level, people have external bots that dont even have to open the game to use

either that or there is some crazy genuis that releases it to people, but i believe the first one to be true

Bots that run outside the game are quite a bit more common than those that inject the GUI, last time I checked.

i think youve misunderstood what i meant

a bot that runs WITHOUT the game, no maple story open, no graphic representation of your character besides a small dot

No, I know exactly what you meant. Almost every bot I've seen has been a PERL / C++ script with no graphical GUI to speak of, although I don't know much about Maple bots to say for sure - I'm going on other MMO bots.

the only game ive ever even heard this done on in ragnorok, but the bots do indeed have a GUI, just outside of the game, they show what is essentially the minimap and all the info as far as your character stats and hp and the like

I don't really want to argue in too much detail about this since I don't want to give away too many details, heh. The functioning bots for RO are either injected (X-xxxx), have a limited, broken GUI (Visual-xxxx) or are a DOS window (the original). Other bots in the past have all been an open DOS window running code, with the exception of Revemu, which had a minimap, true. I can only think of a few other bots (Apez, one that starts with a "b" that I can't remember the name of) and they're all rather unintelligent, interface-wise ( ... )
