Poison Brace, How Does It Work? & Where to Train lvl 49 Wizzard?

I managed to level up to 49 and took three SP in Poison Brace. It turns Drakes & Iron Hogs greens, I know that. And though I thought I read that it can't kill a creature, I actually dropped a couple drakes with it while letting Katt, my Brown Kitty, auto-pot while I repeat fired PB on the beasties

You'd probably get a better answer from an actual F/P, but here's how I understand it. Poison reduces a fixed percentage of the enemy's HP every second for the duration of the poison effect; what that percentage is, and how long it lasts, depends on the level you have the skill at. However, the lingering poison damage itself can't reduce an enemy's HP past one. However, it may be that the actual hitting of the monster with the attack causes some damage. I don't know. But that seems to be the only way that one could actually kill an enemy using that skill.

The Poison effect itself cannot kill monsters, but the damage from using the skill can

Slow vs slower is how it works, but training your FP Mage is not easy. I generally recommend the KISS method - Keep It Simple Shithead when training one. Like just go to Jr Wraith and 1hKO them until your eyes bleed. Then move onto Block Golems or Bunnies or Jr Yeti in El Nath (if you are feeling pro

I'm not maxing PB, and leaving it at 11 since I'm going to be taking Myst first (probably, I still haven't decided and at the rate the area patches are going, I'm going to have another 3 or four months of thinking whilst I waist for Showaa)

Your question has already been answered for the "what it does" portion, but PB really cuts down on the monotony of finding fireweak monsters to find. I've been stuck at 67 for months because of this shitty dead zone I'm in.
