So, after three years, I finished what I started in my 2009 NaNoWriMo.  That's messed up.  I haven't really written anything since then (not counting sims stuff.)  I'm really out of practice.  It took me a over a year to rewrite a few chapters and then clean up the end... which hasn't exactly happened yet.  I'll need to sit and stew on it before I'

You could always start your NaNo a bit early so you would be finished before the sales all start at the end of November. Even a week or two would probably be enough since you usually write fast and finish weeks early anyway.

That's true. I kind of want to take my time this venture, though. Make it less of a mad scramble and more of a structured mad scramble! I'm in WV for Thanksgiving this year, too, which means I won't be traveling. :)
