Actually, I re-took it and think the new results are a better fit (will change the entry in a couple minutes). And yeah, I'm seriously impressed with whoever got it on the cat and took the picture!

and THANKS for all the recipes! I'm thinking about a grad student food blog (EASY [time and money-wise] and GOOD and HEALTHY recipes) and the spinach kugel looks like it's going to be on the list! do you know if you can use fresh spinach instead?

Haven't tried it, but in other casseroles I've substituted chopped fresh spinach for frozen without a problem, so I'm guessing it'd work with this, too.
