Walk into the Mariner High School auditorium. It's dimly lit, slightly dusty, and not at all what you'd expect from the "World Conference" that was so hyped up the past few days. It's little more than an abandoned room with desks gathered awkwardly into what you almost recognize as "your land". Of course, you don't have whatever land it was you had ( Read more... )

[Francis saunters in casually enough, perhaps only a bit late to the meeting but hey, that's how he rolls, okay. He makes a point to flop down into the nearest of chairs, legs crossed over one another and leaning his chin on his hand as he does against the table.]

I certainly have a topic that I would like to discuss.

I have come to a place of acceptance with the fact that Prusse intends to attack me for très ridicule reasons, and I am most unwilling to succumb to his headstrong nonsense.

With this in mind, who is willing to join in my alliance against Prussia? I do believe that I already have le Canada on my side, though I could surely use any and all offered aide.

[Belarus arrives early enough, her mouth a straight line and her face as unreadable as possible. She is silent as she shuffles to her place, taking a seat and settling her palms flat against the table as she weighs what she is about to say.]

I am only here because I know that Brother will be here.

He cannot hide from me any longer, after all. Certainly not in a place with so many of us.

That is all.

[ She sadly doesn't notice him, as she's still in full Russia-homing mode. Poor Liet. ;~; Her eyes pass over him once, but it doesn't seem like she's acknowledged just who is in the room yet. ]

[ poland is, regrettably, a few minutes late-- but then again, since that's considered fashionable, it's not as if he particularly cares. after the formalities of the opening statement if you could call them formalities, he stands up. this in itself is a surprise, as he's usually already tuned out during the first few minutes thinking about better things.

Like, LISTEN.

I'm totally announcing-- the reformation of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth!

[ I HAVE NO IDEA. B| ]

The whole point of doing is this is so that Lithuania is, like, mine again! Get your own partner.

Oh, wait. You did. Prussia.

[So, guess who got dragged along (early?) by a country who does not think he is capable of defending himself.

Which is actually probably Denmark's fault in the first place. Because he got him a lame gun. :| Anyway, Norway has a full set of grievances and issues that he wants to be addressed-they are all written neatly on a piece of paper in Norwegian, English, and French.

He even made three copies.

Even if he totally doesn't have a flag, he is ready for this, once he decides to speak. Despite being pissed at Denmark, his voice is flat as usual.]

Since we're all stuck here in Discedo, 'n some of us seem to be chronologically impaired, the more modern countries should explain the concept of collective security to the older...younger countries.

Also, my constitution says that I am a free, independent, indivisible and inalienable Realm. This should also apply to my brother, who was forced to be part of the Prusso-Danish empire before he was here, which violates his sovereignty.

That's not okay.
