The phone rang at 0430 saying "You're confirmed for today's ICU shift". Of course I am. I just got to sleep at 12ish. Buy - yay - work for today. With a good client, not one of the HMO schleppy places. I just have to get myself together and be early today. (before 7am

Speaking of pathways opening up, I forgot to mention, the night after my second day long class of energy balancing (Dr. Longworth), I went home and sobbed myself to sleep. I hadn't cried in years. Not even through the custody battle with my son's father. Feeling like I was dying emotionally, I begged and begged for God (the Universe) to help me and two days later, I was a different person. Completely. Even returning to my natural hair color and dropping the first seven of my thirty pounds lost. My anger and aggression was gone (not diminished, but G.O.N.E.)That release of energy helped me so much to tune into myself and I realized just a short month later that I really, really, for the first time ever, loved myself. That day, I told my co-worker that I was going to get married (which I never thought I'd do). It was the next day that I met Jesse, and five months later we were married (would have done it sooner if we'd been in the same city).

Just remembering. Thanks for your journal entry today.

The healing session knocked me out. Cold. I was relaxing, being open and receptive, and suddenly I was unable to keep my eyes open. I had not been tired previously; I guess my body wanted to take in the experience without distraction. My neck certainly feels better for it.
