See that's just the thing. We talked about doing reiki exchanges again and the next thing out of her mouth, 5 minutes into me seeing her again, was "Oh Sandy I have something else I want to talk to you about, too" I already knew it was an MLM. She's also the one who was trying to be a life coach for others all while her husband was leaving her. (Don't get me started on life coaches, anyway) I don't "get" so much that she is introducing me to a business because she wants to help me, as much as she is just programmed to tell everyone about these opportunities.

Years ago a "friend" tried to suck me into these pyramid schemes.. she kept going on and on about this meeting and would I please go with her. I had a really bad feeling but also knew she was a sucker for stuff. I sat there listening.. the man feeding her with bullshit like "in a year you could be driving a Merc!" I pulled her to one side and asked her "are you really buying into this bullshit?" her eyes were glazed over. .. oh dear!
I managed to pull her out of it when after the meeting I sat her down and gave her a few home truths.
Sadly, another friend of mine was at this meeting, a successful business man who gave up all he had, his job etc to start on this scheme... yep, you guessed it: He lost everything!

the more recent victim was my uncle..same thing, dragged me to a meeting when I was in germany... I asked him outright "is this amway?" he of course wouldn't answer it. Got there, sure enough, amway. Uncle lost all he had.
These damn schemes are evil!
