Well... that's good. But he put his father's car in the ditch. Looking at a cd label or something, went across the center line, swerved to avoid an oncoming car, overcorrected, swiveled around backwards, traveling backend-first for a bit, and then landing in the ditch with two blown front tires. :(

OTOH, my bro was so proud of him for being honest with the Hwy Patrol about what he did wrong, (his grandpa was an HP man, so...) My bro is SUCH a cool dad, and so good with his boys. And not only that. my nephew got a ticket for $85 and he is GRATEFUL that is all it was.

I also told nephew that his silly aunt (me) almost drove off a mountain once in Colorado looking at a cassette, so ... I know how shaky he feels! I think I saw God that day. Something about no guard rails and stopping at the edge will make you see all kinds of things. *breathes*

WOWZA! I'm glad all is well with family. I've ended up in ditches twice - once I swerved because a car was in my lane and the other time I had fallen asleep on my way to work early in the morning. Nothing too serious - but being jolted awake in the middle of bushes sure makes you want to get a good nights rest.

Your nephews Angels definately had their hands on that car of his!
