GAH! I just checked my room assignment, and I've been given a single in Chown...which is an all-girls residence! That is just far too much of an estrogen-overload for my liking, but I've no idea how to change it (or if I'd even want to). My ideal was a single in co-ed, and now I'm all confused as to what would be better. Does the pros of getting ( Read more... )

Maybe some of them are lesbians? I'm sure if I was a lesbian I'd pick an all-girl residence.

I think this is god telling you that you should have gone to western!!

In all seriousness though, if you truly want to change it I'm sure that you can if your mom places an angry phone call or something (though what to be angry about, i don't know, but i'm sure something can be found) but I don't think an all girls res would be THAT bad. After all, the girls who want to be super slutty and fuck 50 guys in their freshman year would probably fight for a co-ed residence, leaving the nicer girls to stay in the all-girls residence. Food for thought.

it should say on the student residence page thing (where you went to see what room you're in). there is a number that follows the res building abbreviation...mine is something like 0206. that is your room number/floor number. the second number (the 2) tells you what floor you're on.

but leonard west hall is not bad at all! gaaah, i've already found two chown girls who are joining my 'stuck in all-girls' complaining party...

- generally, i get along with guys a LOT better than girls --> MAYBE THIS IS YOUR TIME TO SHINE WITH GIRLS; REMEMBER THAT AT LEAST HALF OF THOSE GIRLS DON'T WANT TO BE THERE EITHER AND SO PROBABLY SHARE SIMILAR VIEWS AS YOU ( ... )

aw, someones been paying attention to all those motivational help books! but really, thanks hun. i know i'll survive it and probably wind up enjoying it (and if not, hey, you're the one who will have to deal with all the frantic "GET ME OUT OF HERE" phone calls at four in the morning). besides, i've talked with other chown girls who have already attempted to switch...and queens has basically been like "disabillity? illness? then i don't think so!".

how are you on a computer, tho? i thought they didn't have any at camp. just two more weeks and we will be spending mom's money shopping, instead of virtual complaining.

i miss you shorty!
love tash
