chopping down the trees
i have to note that from my bedroom window i have a fine view the churches and businesses on yonge street, because norman's garden centre has cut down the woodlot behind my house this week. this area used to be a sugar bush, but a neighbour up the road, i was told today, cut down all the trees in his sizeable yard so his girlfriend could sunbathe. -
moved in
it's 10.30 a.m. and everything is moved out of storage and into my little house. many hands make light work; thanks so much to all! and now for unpacking! -

old tyme banjo and singing
at a friend's request, i played banjo and sang at the seniors residence on king st. this afternoon. tho' we enjoyed eachother at this impromptu hootenanny, since it was my first time ever, i came away with a list of songs to learn for the next time.
