Christmas has come early! Well, Christmas fic at any rate. ;)

Thanks to all those who provided encouragement and a special thanks to pluginxbaby for the quick beta. This was a departure from what I normally write so I appreciate any critical feedback people may want to give (especially on characterization and style).

Thank you. I never really saw Ryan and Jon as a workable pairing until their recent press circuit videos showed up on my f-list, lol.

Aww this was really sweet. I loved Pete and Ryan's dynamic, how Ryan's managed to move on but it's harder for Pete, how there's so much history and emotion between them they can't go back to 'just friends' without fighting for it.

I loved the Jon/Ryan as well (OTP) their kiss was so sweet, and how Ryan felt so at home with Jon's family. Guh so wonderful.

*nods nods* Yeah. Their friendship might still be there, but it's buried under a lot of baggage.

Aww, I liked imagining Jon's family. Feels to me like he might have such a home :)

\o/!

I love how Jon smiles like it's Christmas morning. <3<3<3

And I love how Pete can't hide how much him and Ryan not being together is affecting him.

I really enjoyed this. Short and sweet.

Haha. Short is right. But yeah, Pete doesn't seem like the sort who could hold those emotions back.

Thanks you.

I loved this. I really love the Pete/Ryan dynamic: how it takes Pete a lot longer to adjust, but once he realizes he needs to, he only needs all of 5 seconds to move on. That just seems so spot-on to me.

I loved the little glimpse of Jon and his family as well, because that was all that was really necessary to make it work.

Beautiful job.

The Ryan/Pete dynamic was my favourite part about writing this myself. I didn't mean to focus on it so much (this was supposed to be just light-hearted Jon/Ryan fluff with a little Pete/Ryan backstory) but it took over.

Thank you.
