I seem to have a serial cold. Not enough symptoms to call it, but a sore throat one day, muscle aches the next, not quite a fever the day after that... Never enough to be sick, but just enough to be annoying!no cough or rhinorrhoea as yet. And long may it last.

Meh. Once it subsides forthwith, I'll be happy.

I am running a real risk of glue poisoning...

I don't know what's gotten into me recently. I've done more significant flying in the last year than in the thirty preceeding it. Last year it was because I was in Hedland, and wanted to see friends, family and other half occasionally. This year, it's conferences.

Well. In the ongoing battle between gardener and cooch-grass, this round goes to the weeds.

My back is killing me. The fact that it is my own sweet fault for not using the correct posture doesn't help. The fact that as I was weeding, I actually thought, 'This is a bad position to weed in. My back is going to be sore tomorrow' really doesn't help.

So... last year for St Patrick's day, I was in Port Hedland with a stinker of a cold. This year, I was in Perth. With the start of a cold; and this was ignored. One thing I discovered (to my amusement) was that my prospective father in law was talking cheerfully to an old family friend about the fact that his son was going to marry an Irish woman.
