Recap of my logic lecture today (and I swear this is all true):

PROFESSOR (on conditionals): "If A, then B" means that A is sufficient for B, which means that A is impossible without B. A contrapositive means that we negate the two clauses and switch them like so, "If not B, then not A." If there is no B, there cannot be an A.
