There is a strange strangeness (yes, I am terribly eloquent about this do not laugh) about advising one's little sister re: high school. I can only imagine how much more distilled that feeling will be once university applications time rolls around. ... hopefully she'll be able to wrestle with her grad/professional school applications on her own

Is it just me, or is it usually a trade-off between Gimli and Legolas? It seems that people who like one generally don't like the other.

Is there? I haven't noticed, but I don't dabble in the fandom very much.

I don't dislike Legolas XD Everything I called him, I did with great affection. I like the characters, but I like their dynamics even more and it's hard to do that while disliking one of the characters involved.
