In the best possible way. I cannot believe that there is such a community. I wish I'd discovered this a few days ago; I'd have ecstatically joined in the watch. At which my family would have laughed uproariously. But thank you for creating this community, whoever did, and I will watch next time. I saw something about it being the 5-year anniversary

You should join in next time! It's always loads of fun. Not sure when it'll be yet, but we always put a notice up here and in the MandC comms when it's planned.

The five year anniversary was a few months ago, on November 14th. :D We did a movie and specials watch in its honour.

But yeah, join in. It's always great to see new faces.

A most hearty welcome to you. So pleased to hear that you have found us. There is always a notice up when the next watch is planned and it is always a lot of fun. Sometimes it is the naval romance only, sometimes it will be the specials only, sometimes we are crazy enough to go for all of it.

Why don't you go through the comments of a watch next time you watch the movie at home. It will give you a feel for the wonderful crazyness that is the watch. :D

I think I was the newest recruit for the last watch, having just discovered the books about two weeks earlier. It was good fun. And my sister did find the idea quite entertaining.

(I'm watching the film now, which does have the advantage of letting me rewind the cutest Stephen bits, but it's not quite the same...)

Thank you! I am already looking forward to the next watch, and just starting to read the books. Actually, I was watching the film yesterday -- I haven't seen it in full since I bought it several months ago, which is shocking!
