[The punch connects rather painfully, but hey, not exactly his first time in a beatdown. He holds on to Shepard's arm instead of letting him go, yanks him down with all his strength, even if the force pulls him down, too. Their height difference is enough to put him at a notable disadvantage if they stay on their feet. He tangles with Shepard, tries to get on top of him to have a little leverage, and pin him down.]

Fuck! [He hadn't been anticipating someone actually capable of fighting, least of all someone shorter than him to know how to deal with someone taller, but he gets an arm around Kai Leng's neck, trying to put him in a headlock.] You should have just walked away.

[OMG don't- Why- No that hurts! But if his lack of height is good for one thing, it's giving him leverage and speed. He manages to tear himself out of the grip, barely, and buries his fist in Shepard's stomach. Not an elegant method, but honestly, who gives a shit. He takes a deep breath, quickly, panting.]

[A quick puff of breath comes at the punch to his stomach but Shepard manages to keep going, and he scoffs at that comment.] Yeah, sure. Keep telling yourself that. [And he swings for his face, the other hand going in right after towards his stomach.]

[ The shouting can be heard a bit away, but with a telepath? It's even louder. Kerrigan normally doesn't busy herself with fights that don't involve her, but there's something nagging at her to do it. Against her probably better judgement, Kerrigan turns and starts heading towards the fight. She takes the back way through the alleys to avoid all the crowds. Her hand comes up to pull down her visor, looking for the heat signatures of the two before finding her way to the fight. There's an eyeroll that can't be seen under the visor as she steps closer to the fight, hands on her hips. ]

It looks like you boys need some time to cool your engines. We don't want anyone getting hurt.

[Shepard blinks up at her, probably screwing himself over in the fight, but flashes a grin at her and gives his opponent a shove.] The only person getting hurt is this jerk. You might want to step back, miss. [Because he's not yet done with this fight.]

[But yup, he's just all too happy that Shepard takes a moment to focus on the girl - whom he ignores. All it takes is a half-sidestep forward into the shove, into Shepard's personal space, and his arm snaps up, base of his open palm ramming up against Shepard's jaw. He nods at the girl without looking at her.]

[Tony doesn't see the fight start, but he sees it end, hands in his pockets and smirk on his face. What a couple of idiots, brawling in the middle of the street. The scorn in his voice is clearly audible when he calls out to them.] Better luck next time, dumbasses.

[Rolling his eyes, he turns to head down a nearby alleyway, because Shepard and Kai Leng aren't the only idiots in the area.]

He tries to put the fight to a brief halt, tries to hold Shepard's wrist to pin him in position, and then dares to turn his head at the voice - only to assault him with a barrage of Chinese swears. Not all of them are all that easy to translate, but the spirit carries over. And hey. That kid actually looks rich.]

[Shepard hisses at his wrist being gripped but watches the guy walk past.] What the hell are we doing, fighting when we could do something better? [He tugs his arm free and he's off after Tony.]
