Melbourne Trip Day 2

Woke up nice and early on day 2, and after getting dressed, having a wrestle with Gaige (my Dad's dog, who  I need to get a few pics of), Jyan and I set out to have breakfast at an old haunt of mine, Holy Cannoli.  Both Lara and Bev were in they're usual form, and were really pleased to see me and meet Jyan.  Both commented on how much weight I've ( Read more... )

Both my parents are from unusual backgrounds themselves, and they made decisions on our upbringing that seem very politically correct now, but were very enlightened at the time. I was born in '68, and my parents definitely believe(d) in a better tomorrow, and that the revolution is personal ( ... )

Babe,

I'm more than happy to celebrate things like Christams, Easter, and Valantine's Day with you, but I'm also just as happy to let them slip quietly by. My only interest is to make you happy, and that's the first and only thing on my mind.

As for the sneakiness, that's all part of Christmas. The day is about giving, and to be honest with you, I'd much rather be giving gifts on the day than recieving them.

I think it's VERY cool that you got pics taken with the kids - and I LOVE the "threat" you made as to the alternative! LOL

I love seeing pictures of Roy with HIS kids too... :-)
