Yep, LJ went quiet. People just drifted away over a few years, one here and one there. Usually they just got busy and/or had kids, and then when things quietened down, they just never came back.

It's a select few who now hold the fort. We're the special ones!

I've honestly been seeing a pickup. I've seen a few people come back lately, and the dropoff has kind of gone. The new ownership actually does things you ask them to do sometimes (which is why Bandcamp embeds work now - I asked, a couple of weeks later, they said "HERE Y'GO!") and... yeah.

I love Tumblr to death, but it's not the right place for all things.
