I did WW...it's a good program, although a little all consuming with figuring out points. Although when I stopped, I didn't keep the weight off, so it's an ongoing commitment.
Alex and I have been using WW since mid January. So far I've lost 21#s and she has lost 13#s. It is a good program that makes you aware of what you are eating and how it affects you. I've found that my problem is not eating enough, which is more likely to add weight than eating too much.(go figure,eh). The point counting can be a little tedious, especially if you dine out a lot, but there are numerous resources to aid you. Highly recommend it.
WW is awesome. The Rhy swears by it. Cait also was a huge fan of WW. It's a great program, easy to follow and so wildly customizable that you can eat whatever you want, as long as you count it.

Well, I'm not considering a weight loss diet, and I've never used WW, but it seems reasonable.
I don't know that much about food or portions or any of that stuff. Size of a deck of playing cards? You can't eat playing cards!
Something that actually gave you portion-controlled meals for a while until you got the idea of how much food is supposed to be enough.

I'd write more, but Widgeon's starring role is today and we're getting ready to go.
