My choice of weapons are sword, spear, and dagger. I also have a shield.

My first thought when I read this is, "Yeah, and they're all the knight's." (Not true, I realize, but the Squire is such an underdog...)

Also, the armor descriptions ring this to mind, as well as this.

but I have a habit of dropping my weapons, usually at the most inopportune of moments,
Awww! Yours is the comic-relief character, and he doesn't even seem to know it!

My finisher is... ... ...Oh crap, I forgot what my finisher is! I mean I never win, how the heck would I know how I would do it???
Hahahahaha!

I loved the title, this piece, and your whole approach to this prompt. \o/

Oh, lord. I was always the idiot who picked characters like the Squire, too. Just because I wanted to prove that you could actually make them USEFUL.

Yeah I would try to win the game with every character at least once. I would wind up getting playing 20 times in row with these characters.

I'd ask how in the world someone with a bastard sword regularly loses to a claymore (I'm assuming you mean the hand-and-a-half bastard sword, not the obscure one that's halfway between a shortsword and a full-size one?) -- and, for that matter, why a fighter with what sounds like a halberd isn't holding you off with that anyway -- but any game that's still putting women in armor that automatically directs a blow to the center of their chest can't possibly be using logic in their weaponry either. *facepalm*

Good luck?

I did mean the one that is half way between a short sword and a regular sword the single handed Bastard style sword and yes the programmers of these games often throw logic out the window especially in the case of the female characters.

Ooo, that one's rare even in weapons books, odd to see it in a game. Mmm, it's more agile, so I'd prefer it anyway, but the claymore has reach, it could go either way really. I dunno, maybe they were thinking you'd go inside his guard? But most games don't program that in for swords, just polearms.
