Your comment reminded me of another bit I forgot to include! Which was that we visited a friend of Ruthie's who also has a DreamLite, and that one works properly, and when we saw how lovely it was to just push the button and have it come right on, that's when I knew I had to do something about ours. So here's hoping it was an aberration and our new one, and yours, will be fine!

Hilarous!! "What kind of email was it that you received?" Comic genius!! And of course your response was exactly right. How DO you answer a question that isn't even a valid putting together of ideas? What kinds of emails are there? Pretty ones? Long ones? Mean ones? Weird ones? What???

Thanks for my laugh for the day!

Dreamlites sound like a poorly constructed version of The Cloud B products which have been out for years and are super popular with the new parents set. They have fewer options but they seem a lot more reliable.

I don't know which came first, or which is better quality; but Cloud B isn't advertising on the channels my kids watch, so they aren't getting our attention and thus aren't getting our money. ;)

Cloud B has been around since at least 2010, since it was de rigeur when I was pregnant, much like Sophie the Giraffe. We got the turtle as a gift and it's taken a beating since teh toddler likes to make the colors change on it now.

I think Cloud b tends to target the baby market. XD; This is more like their variation on the night-lite. I was just surprised to find out they are targeting a similar product for older kids now!
