Change is good, mmkay
So today was Ruthie's last day at daycare, and tomorrow she starts her new preschool. I feel weird about it all. On the one hand she's been at this daycare two years, and even when you've had as much trouble with a place as I've had there, you still form attachments which are hard to leave behind. re: the YMCA camp: after being a camp counselor myself, I will think very hard before ever sending a kid to a YMCA camp. The poor supervision I've seen when my camps encounter YMCA camps is disheartening. But know that all camps aren't like that, the younger kids YMCA camps seem better than the teen ones, and you might just want to check out different camps next year (I suggest looking for your local nature center, but that's just my personal bias).
