I finished writing chapter 20 of my story yesterday and now I have to re-read it before sending it off to my pre-beta. I'm hoping to have it up by the end of the year, but I don't know if A: That will happen or B: If it's worth rushing to get it up since I don't know how many people will read it anyways during the holiday rush ( Read more... )

Doesn't surprise me. We, as a state, have a keen ability to consistently humiliate ourselves. After all, we're smeared with the dirt of Tonia Harding, Monica Lewinsky (received her psych degree at Lewis and Clark here in Portland), Senator Packwood, and the infamous Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh -- just to name a few. o__O

Well sometimes despite the best of intentions a few bad apples find their way into the limelight.

What did Senator Packwood do? His name doesn't ring a bell.

I have about 5 or 6 chapters left to write. Probably six, but it depends on how much detail I want to get into. That's my constant battle, getting on with it, versus writing everything that I want. :)
