Terms I just made up

Transition to vaction in...
So in the AM we will transition to Vacation mode. Which means moving from here to a campground on the Outer Banks for six days then more vacation in another campground on the Outer Banks for another six days oh woe is me....
a solid 10 days plus of bobbing in the Ocean and minimal time on email / phone.

Camping in Surry VA
Here we are in a lovely VA state park. Enjoying a warm but not too hot summer. The campground has an amazing swimming pool and we're just a ferry ride across from Jamestown. All in all a grand place.

So we have passed through from the heartache of home ownership to the joys of homelessness it has been a wacky stressful six months since we got the offer on the house we owned. We closed at the end of Febuaruy and had to then wait out four more months to get my mother settled in a house that is very close to a dream home for her (it was that or ( Read more... ) -

South Padre Island and the Protectorate
So the current trip ticks along the Rio Grande Valley is better than I expected as is South Padre Island though Co-eds are out of season in October. (SPI is a place to go for Spring Break it seems)
The locals are nice the beach is nice and we’re able to rest up a bit before drifting back north east for Thanksgiving (customer meetings in DC ( Read more... ) -

Been out of sorts and testy the last several days. Work is part of it, home is part of it, but coming off the road for two weeks with my mother and her new cat is a lot of it.
