I like this a lot. The lyrics set the mood, and the characters' voices are just right. Moody and sad, with maybe a touch of hopefulness. Nicely done.

Thanks so much! I heard the song for the first time the other day and I couldn't get it out of my head. The line "You've got a gypsy soul to blame and you were born for leaving" just made me think of Dick. I do feel hopeful for them though. I like to imagine a happy ending eventually. I might end up having to write that if I find the right song. Thank you for reading and commenting, I really appreciate the feedback.
