I dreamed that me and my family were at some family fun center doing activities. During a break alone, I stepped into the next room, where some strange creatures were putting on a play. I know at least some of you hate Valentine's Day, but I do want to say that if I've given you the address to this journal, it's because I love you, and today is an appropriate time to remind/inform people of that.

Virginia is full of schizophrenic temperature swings. On Friday it was in the twenties and I went urban hiking in like 5 layers. The next day I was in short sleeves helping friends weed their garden in preparation for spring planting. Today it's warm again and I'm typing this in front of an open porch door. Also, the horrible patch on my face turned out to just be an ordinary scab that is fading more every day. Yay.
