werk and other torturous exercises

Well, I had a huge blowout with my crazy cunt co-worker last night. I spent an hour pulling out the load with three other people while she dicked around and pulled her pet food out and didn't help us, and then after I've finished pulling out all the skids and I've been in my first area stocking for 30 minutes, she stomps up to me like a madwoman ( Read more... )

i am going to die, mental illness, dead, werk

Your boss is mentally ill. Your coworker threatened your life. In front of customers. That kind of hostility needs to be dealt with in no uncertain terms.

Agreed. Now we need to move to an alternate dimension where my boss doesn't ignore things like this, and where HIS boss doesn't ignore things like this, and where HIS boss doesn't ignore things like this, and where I didn't get put on a one day suspension for "insubordination" for going over his head the last time she threatened me.

Conclusion: Michigan is an "at will hire" State, so they can fire you for pretty much anything, and Meijer isn't nearly as scrupulous as everyone thinks it is.

Considering that you already identify as gay, if you've ever been diagnosed with a mental disorder, you could get them charged with a hate crime for harassing you. Yeah, you might still get fired, but at least you'd have the satisfaction of rubbing their noses in their own shit. If it really hits the fan, contact the ACLU.

Ok, send me the money to pay the lawyer's fees and I'll get right on it. As soon as I buy toilet paper for this month.

I'd be proud of standing up to her. Now, on Christmas Eve your boss needs to be visited by three ghosts....

They'd be the ghosts of employees past, employees present, and employees yet to come, since she's done this before to other employees so it's not like this is a new development. Any time she decides she hates someone, she treats them this way until they quit. It's going to be a battle of wills from this point on out.

Dude, isn't it a CRIME to threaten others' lives? As in, with cops and statements and everything?

I'm totally proud of you for standing up to her and remaining an adult while she threw a hissy fit. Though she sounds like the kind of person restraining orders were made for.

If we were talking about managers, yes. The one time a guy threatened a manager, he was fired. But other people heard that (other employees) who could serve as witnesses and did so because they didn't like the guy. she muttered the "I'm going to KILL you" and it's something she says ALL THE TIME (along with "I'm going to STRANGLE you") and the customer didn't hear that, just the yelling part. Plus she gets away with everything she does and says at that place, no matter how angry or mean or whatever, and I'll admit, I've done my share of saying things like one time this other employee said he was going to call in sick and make us work the load alone and I told him I was going to "burn down his house and roast marshmallows." THAT someone heard and I got in trouble, but everyone becomes deaf when Jaylynn says similar things because they like her. It's all small town politics around here.

Maybe when she finally snaps, she'll kill all of them.

Yes, I am proud of you for standing up for yourself, but I hate that you're treated so unfairly.

If you read about a huge massacre at the Big Rapids Meijer, it's all her. :-p

i got fired from meijers in 2000 for having severe bronchitis (with doctors notes) and having to be out of work for 3 weeks. :)

still prefer meijer over walmart, though. sounds as if its less the corporation, and more the idjits of big rapids. i seriously hated that town...
