Title: Tell Me I'm Frozen, But What Can You Do?
Characters: Zack, Zexion and Kadaj
Location: Outside, in the snow then the hospital.

Zexion really, really despised the cold. He got cold very easily, and always had a hard time warming up afterwards, so he rarely enjoyed going outside in the frozen tundra that was Malaise's grounds ( ... )

He could feel his pulse slowing, not quickly, but it was getting there and he wished for it to go faster. If one of the nurses ended up coming out while he was still awake then they would probably drag him inside and send him to solitary. He wanted to avoid that place as much as possible.

Kadaj clenched his hands into fists, gripping at the snow that was covering his fingers now then letting them open back up, the flakes barely even melted because of how cold his skin had already gotten from just laying there for a couple of minutes. A quick sigh slipped past his already blue lips, those clouded eyes watching the steam that rose into the air then disappeared just as quick.

The sound of footsteps caught his attention, making him look over for just a second before his head rocked back into place, barely catching sight of the figure that had just come outside. Please, don't let it be a nurse. . . It didn't look like one, but he couldn't be too careful while he was doing this; anyone could come out and make him get up, which would ( ... )

The other boy looked like a wreck. Zexion could only wonder how long he had been out here to get this cold, but his skin felt like ice to touch and it looked like the beginnings of hypothermia. It was quite unsettling, especially since he could figure out what Kadaj was planning by now.

His words only confirmed Zexion's thought that he was attempting to freeze himself, but he didn't give himself time to think about why he would try and do this. Thank heavens he had been walking around on this morning, or ( ... )

Feeling his teeth chattering, Kadaj mentally smiled; it was actually going to work then. He felt his muscles twitching, a sign that he needed to get up before his whole body decided to shut down on him, but of course, he didn't plan on moving at all until he was sure that his pulse stopped ( ... )

Obviously this wasn't working. Kadaj didn't want to move, and Zexion didn't have the strength to move him by himself. He was running out of options and time. What could he do?

His first thought was, of course, to go get someone from the staff. He hadn't seen anyone that worked here when he was walking outside, but there had to be someone nearby, right? Or at least, he could only hope. Since it was this early, there was probably only a few nurses outside, and the grounds were rather big ( ... )
