Title: Tell Me I'm Frozen, But What Can You Do?
Characters: Zack, Zexion and Kadaj
Location: Outside, in the snow then the hospital.
Rating: Let's say.. PG-13.

Zack's odd position under the bed hardly registered with Zexion when he entered, as distracted as he was. Even so, he did grimace a little when he heard the boy's head hit the bottom of the bed, as it didn't sound like it felt very good. He would have apologized if he felt he had the time ( ... )

The silver haired teen stared up at his friend for a moment, his dull eyes blinking a few times. Why wasn't Zexion inside by now? Why wasn't he leaving him there and just ignoring him? He shut his eyes and tried to ignore the other male moving him around again, his head resting against his own jacket and now something was warming his torso.

Kadaj looked down at his lower half after Zexion had left, tilting his head in a sort of confused way before he moved his arm just barely to push the sweater off and onto his snow covered legs, letting the arm drop once more afterwards. He relaxed backwards, letting the cold sink into his already half frozen body.

It shouldn't be much longer now. . . Moving slightly, he buried himself a bit deeper in the snow, wishing that he had covered himself completely, but at least he was sort of well hidden. Maybe when the other came back, he wouldn't see him ( ... )

He was glad that Zack was following along without too much question, and he also felt lucky that the other boy had already been awake, or they would have wasted more time trying to get him out of bed and alert enough to help him get Kadaj out of the snow ( ... )

He cringed when a solid cold hit his scalp, his head tilting back so he could partially look at where his head was now resting on a patch of ice before he shut his eyes once more, trying to let the last of his body heat free into the cold.

Those green eyes fluttered back open, watching his breath come out in soft huffs, the white air floating above him. Soon, that's all he would probably see. White, or black if he didn't end up going.. Where would he go? What happened to you when you committed suicide?

Kadaj shook his head and blinked when he felt that his body wasn't shaking anymore, his skin probably as cold as the snow on the ground now. He felt a half smile force its way across his face, his eyes almost shutting once more until he heard Zexion's voice again and barely felt the snow being pushed off his legs. Shiva, he had been so close.

Zack's here. . .? He brought.. him? His head tried to turn, hands clenching tighter since his fingers were almost frozen together from the melted snow that had seeped through them when he had ( ... )

Honestly, Zexion didn't quite understand why Kadaj would even do this. He had thought that everything was alright with him, considering the fact that he had seen quite a few people, himself included, attempt to cheer him up. He hadn't been aware of how seriously Kadaj was depressed, and this disturbed him on a deeper level, because he usually considered himself rather observant.

But that was something to think over a different time. Zack seemed calmer to Zexion because he was panicking internally, and it helped him calm down a little too. They were going to get him inside and warm him, up and he was going to be alright. That's how it will go, he told himself firmly ( ... )
